In 1967, Mr. Vasudev Makhija established the family’s first rice mill after returning from Ghana, starting with a modest capacity of 20-30 quintals per day. The business grew significantly under the leadership of the second generation, Mr. Dhanesh Makhija, expanding to four units producing 550 tons daily. Now, with Dr. Honey Makhija at the helm, the family operates six units with a combined output of 1,000 tons per day, focusing on quality production for both domestic and export markets, setting new standards in the industry.
